I wasn't trying to create a skincare brand. I was trying to help my daughter.
After my father passed away, I inherited some of the medical supplies and ingredients he had left behind.
When my daughter later developed a stubborn skin irritation, I began experimenting with those ingredients along with ingredients of my own.
What started as something made for her quickly became something other people began asking for. Friends and family tried it. They saw what it did for their skin. Then they started coming back asking the same question: 'Where can I buy more?'
That's when Cierra realized this might be bigger than something she was making at home. And that's where Purviance began.
